The text is found in two classical sources: Shaykh al-Ṭūsī’s (d. 460 AH/1076 CE) Miṣbāḥ al-Mutahajjad and Ibn Ṭāwūs’ (d. 664 AH/1266 CE) Iqbāl al-Aʿmāl.
